What is the BCCS?
The Bristol Centre for Complexity Sciences (BCCS) is one of three centres for doctoral training (CDTs) funded by theEngineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) specifically focussed on the theme of complexity sciences.
In 2006 the University of Bristol was awarded nearly £4 million to develop the BCCS and its PhD programme, with the first cohort of students enrolling onto the taught component in October 2007.
In 2010, the BCCS was successul in being awarded further funding from the EPSRC (approximately £3.6 million) to continue our innovative research.
